Web Design Intern Summer 2009

As a web designer at Away, I have had the opportunity to work on the improvement of user interfaces for five different travel related sites under the Orbitz World Wide umbrella. Sites include away.com, gorp.com, gorptravel.com, and outsidemagazine.com. I also designed for SEO, developed icons, advertisements, created website layouts, and assisted Sr. designers, all while gaining corporate experiences at a Fortune 500 company. I will be continuing my work here this summer.

The Mouse Artist
Designer 2009

As a designer at the Mouse Artist, a small design shop in northern Virginia, I was a part of a team of about 7 designers and web developers who tackled projects varying from small print projects to massive website designs for area companies. I often tackled print projects that included the design of flyers, brochures, and cd covers for print. I also aided in asset development, including illustration.

The Essential Theatre

Worked on logo development for a children‘s program.

Website design and direction for an online pet service that connects pet owners with trusted pet services.

Designed website for an online Spanish film club.

Designed branding and booklet for fine arts brochure. Included design of 2 versions that unfolded into hangable posters.

LGI Entertainment 2006 - 2009

I was the art director and graphic designer for a leading Washington, DC event promoter. Events ranged from 3 to 4 times a week and required advertising collateral including flyer designs, microsite designs, and design for social media. I also developed their current logo.
